NakTech LLC provides strategic technology advisory and consulting services for Internet firms, both new and established.

NakTech was formed in 2009 by David Nakayama. David was Senior VP Engineering at Yahoo! Inc. through 2008, where he was responsible for developing and operating Yahoo!’s Communications and Front Doors products, including Yahoo! Mail, Messenger, Flickr, My Yahoo, and the Yahoo! home page. David joined Yahoo! in 1997 when the Internet company acquired Four11, the directory services company, where he led the development of RocketMail, the early web-based email product, and its successor, Yahoo! Mail.
Notable clients to date include start-ups such as the online music service Lala and the food marketplace site Foodzie. Larger clients of note include AOL and Palm Inc. David also is an early-stage angel investor, focused on technology-driven startups in the consumer Internet sector.
